OUR STORY
Erika Moreyra, an entrepreneur by heart, started selling swimwear among friends in college. Her peers candidly remember her walking around campus with the “bolsa de bikinis”, a bag full of bikinis which she had personally designed. Shortly after college, while vacationing in Brazil, Erika decided to take her passion to the next level, and the idea of Praia Brava was born, a brand that embraces every woman, with all styles and all bodies.

For us in Praia Brava, sustainable fashion is more than a focus on textiles; it is an environmental, social and ethical commitment. For these reasons we have launched Praia Brava ECO, our latest line based on long lasting material that use less water during production and are biodegradable.

OUR TEAM – WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
We were envisioned, created, and currently led by women. Our team of designers, pattern makers, sales personnel, administrative staff, and artisan are 99% women. We collaborate daily for our personnel and brand success. We are an amazing team who have worked together for more than 20 years to build what Praia Brava is today.
